I was listening to a TON of Soreption's "Engineering the Void" at the time that I wrote this as well as a lot of Alluvial and Wes Hauch's beautiful performances on "Autotheism" by The Faceless. Around the same time I was absorbing all of that, Soreption was touring the US to promote their latest album "Monument of the End" and brought on Justin McKinney to fill in on guitar because Mikael Almgren couldn't come with them. It was this trifecta of guitarists and their impacts which drew my focus inward to create what is now Eons of Truculence. This is also one of the first songs I wrote for the EP. It can actually be interpreted as one of the starting points within the EP to observe the evolution of expression that is captured in each song

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
